BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Salim Khan is the Chief Executive Officer at Hussain Consulting, catering to a diversified client base. He is mainly responsible for strategic human resource consultancy. Prior to this, Salim worked with ICI Pakistan Limited in the sphere of Corporate HR, Organizational Development and a Trainer. Salim holds a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Mechanical Engineering from the California Institute of Technology. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts with honours from Occidental College.
Sohail Hasan is a Chartered Accountant and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan. He was a partner in a leading assurance firm A.F.Ferguson &Co (a member firm of Pricewaterhouse Coopers) for over 35 years. He also served the firm as its Senior Partner. He has over 35 years of experience in accounting, assurance, tax and management advisory services covering government agencies, multinationals and private and public sector companies. As a partner his experience spreads over a large and diverse portfolio of companies in the manufacturing, petroleum, oil marketing, telecommunication, banking, other financial and service sectors. He has directed and participated in a number of engagements involving company valuations, restructuring and acquisitions, developing management and financial reporting systems, special investigations, credit and internal control and financial system reviews. He has an extensive understanding of the Pakistan tax laws and his experience includes supervision of tax projects involving ensuring compliance before tax authorities, litigation support, representation before Appellate forums and tax planning matters. He has served as a member of the Provincial Finance Commission, Punjab.
Shakeib has 25 years of experience in engineering, consulting and project management with a focus on clean energy. He started his career with the UK Atomic Energy Authority and later worked at CERN (the European centre for nuclear research), McKinsey & Company and ITER (the International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor). His early career concentrated on engineering studies in alternative energy. Subsequently, he moved into technical management, overseeing the development of components for large-scale (multi-billion dollar) energy infrastructure. At McKinsey he worked on technology strategy in the energy sector, advising on R&D priorities, strategic alliances, intellectual property, organisation design and change management. Subsequently he partnered in a private equity initiative to develop energy infrastructure in the Middle East and South Asia regions, with a focus on project finance. Shakeib holds a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, a master’s degree in fusion energy and a doctorate in control systems, from Oxford University.
Danial Hashmi is a result oriented, collaborative executive with a proven track record of strategizing and setting up business units and delivering on business goals to improve corporate performance.
Over the course of 19 years, he has been associated with leading financial institutions in multiple geographical locations including HSBC Pakistan, Union Bank, Barclays Bank UAE and Emirates NBD at senior appointments across various business functions including Private Banking & Wealth Management, Retail & Branch Banking, and Transactional Banking.
KHALDOON BIN LATIF

Khaldoon has over 12 years of rich and varied experience in Financial Services. Prior to joining BMA Funds, he was associated with JS Investments Limited and KASB Funds Limited as a Chief Investment Officer (CIO) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO). He has also worked with TAIB Bank BSC – Bahrain, as a managing director of their brokerage, asset management, custody and advisory operation. He has also been associated with the research and trading departments of AKD Securities Limited and PICIC Asset Management Company Limited.
He has represented strategic and non-strategic shareholders as a director, in a number of different regulated entities.
